Wedding of Alysha & Sergio

Quinta de la Muñoza

If there is one thing that defines this romantic wedding and that fascinated us, it was its international character. Alysha and Sergio got married in Madrid on April 11, 2015. It was an unforgettable and fun day, in which the couple enjoyed every moment with their guests from start to finish, sharing very special moments and a few surprises…

When Alysha and Sergio hired
our wedding planning services

, we got to work right away to help them with all the preparations, from start to finish. We accompanied them in the search for the perfect venue, carefully selecting the vendors together with them, all the decor, accommodation for the international guests, and absolutely every detail of the wedding.

We say international because we traveled halfway around the world with the couple (not literally, of course ;). Alysha is from Canada and Sergio from Madrid, and although they currently live in London, when they met they were both living in Singapore, where they fell in love and decided to travel around the world together on a trip of several months. They are a cheerful and adventurous couple who wanted to reflect their passion for travel by sharing all the places they had discovered together. So we helped them by creating a seating plan inspired by the couple’s love of travel, using vintage suitcases, photos of theirs, and wildflowers. It turned out beautifully.

The ceremony was held at the church of Las Calatravas, on the central and well-known Calle de Alcalá, in Madrid. The bride arrived at the church in an elegant Rolls Royce lent by a family friend, wearing a magnificent dress by Franc Sarabia, carrying a bouquet of white roses from Bucaro florists, with hair by Jesús Rodríguez and makeup by Sarah Miller. The groom wore an elegant morning suit by La Trajería. Both of them looked spectacular.

The wedding celebration took place at Quinta de la Muñoza, a beautiful estate near Madrid, where we set up decor with flowers taking center stage across the different areas where the event unfolded, including the banquet tables.

Since there were many international guests, and given that the wedding was being held in Spain, the cocktail hour featured live Spanish guitar music and an equestrian show, complete with a flamenco dancer!. Guests loved it, it looked beautiful set in the estate’s gardens, and it was also a fun and very Spanish touch that surprised all the guests.

But the surprises didn’t end there! After dinner, a second show impressed guests once again: a traditional Ukrainian dance performed by the bride’s family, all dressed in traditional costumes, which added another fun and original touch to the party — and even the bride herself was persuaded to dance!

Here we leave you a sample of the wonderful report that Neima Pidal made of the wedding, capturing every detail and special moment that we shared with this wonderful couple. Thank you so much, Alysha and Sergio, for your trust and for sharing your day with us.
