Wedding of Ana & Sergio
Los Claustros de Ayllón
A venue with a truly unique charm, an outdoor party, a great atmosphere and, above all, great music. Ana and Sergio’s wedding was without a doubt a spectacular and fun celebration, one of those you can’t stay indifferent to. A wedding we had been dying to tell you about!!
Ana and Sergio contacted
us six months before their wedding, and they were clear they wanted to celebrate it somewhere charming and outdoors. After visiting several fincas with them, they decided that the ideal place for their big day was Los Claustros de Ayllón, a former Franciscan convent with beautiful gardens in an unbeatable setting.
We got to work and searched among the best wedding photographers to make sure they would know how to get the very best out of this handsome and charming couple, as well as the impressive Los Claustros estate. The ones chosen were JFK Imagen Social, who did a truly spectacular job with photos that really capture how beautiful and special this wedding turned out to be.
The ceremony was held in one of the estate’s gardens, and for the floral decor we asked La Galería de Doña Urraca for trees on either side of the altar and small flower bunches for the chairs.
Ana looked gorgeous, wearing a dress by Oh Que Luna! and the bouquet and the crown she wore in her hairstyle were made by María Salazar, a recommendation 😉
As part of our
wedding planning service
we found accommodation for the guests around Ayllón. We took care of preparing an online invitation designed, tracking RSVPs, and we also organized transport from Madrid and from the center of Ayllón and nearby villages to the estate.
The cocktail hour had a Mahou beer corner, the groom’s favorite! and we put together a display telling the couple’s story, who had met at school and reconnected years later to finally seal their love with this wedding. We do love hearing your love stories…
Sergio is a music lover, and being such a fan he booked live performances that livened up the whole wedding and gave a lot of personality and a great atmosphere to the celebration: piano and string music during the ceremony, a jazz band at the cocktail hour, and an indie band that played a full concert after dinner!! Quite the party!
Another detail we love putting together is the seating plan. Every couple is unique, every wedding has something special and distinctive about it, and we always look for something that reflects the couple’s personality.
Indeed, if you were thinking music, you guessed right! We designed the seating plan using vinyl records to display each table’s guest list, and as a prop we used the groom’s Vespa, another one of his great passions. You can judge the result for yourselves — it was super original, very tied to the couple, and it created a really lovely space within the garden.
They wanted to have dinner outdoors, making the most of the good July weather and the estate’s spectacular garden. We set up string light illumination, and for the centerpieces we used jars of different shapes and sizes with candles around them and wildflowers. All very in keeping with the countryside setting of the terrace where dinner, and later the party, took place.
And as a finishing touch, we were thrilled to share the post on the Querida Valentina blog, where Cristina wrote a lovely review of Ana and Sergio’s spectacular and fun wedding. Thank you!!
