Wedding of Capucine & Pablo
Palacio de Aldovea
Capucine and Pablo got married at the ICADE church, the university where they both studied and where they lived through the first years of their relationship. When they contacted me — back in December 2014 — they were living in New York, and right after the wedding they moved to London; but this very international couple (she is French) were clear that the most special day of their lives had to be celebrated in the city where they met.
For the celebration after the religious ceremony, after an exhaustive search for spectacular venues around Madrid, they ended up choosing Palacio de Aldovea, a unique space with stunning grounds where the cocktail hour, the dinner for 250 guests and the dancing took place.
Capucine wanted a simple and tremendously elegant look, choosing a dress by designer Constance Fournier. She looked beautiful and very natural, which always adds value and helps brides feel comfortable on their big day.
The wedding decor was cheerful and romantic at the same time, with nods to Capucine’s nationality such as a spot where the French guests could hang their hats (it’s very typical there for people to attend weddings wearing hats in summer, both men and women).
After this introduction, here are the lovely photographs of their wedding taken by the always impeccable Ruth Roldán. I hope you like them!
