Wedding of Nuria & David

The first time we spoke with this couple, we did a Skype call — me in Madrid, them in Bogotá, where they were living for work and wanted to start planning their wedding, so they needed someone to help them on the ground!

After weighing the option of holding the wedding in the bride’s hometown in the Sierra de Ávila, they finally decided, to make logistics easier for their guests, on Finca Felipe II, in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, which combined a countryside setting, views as beautiful as those of the Sierra de Gredos, and the option for guests to stay there overnight on the day of the wedding.

The month chosen for the “I do” was September, and the weather was so kind to Nuria and David that they were even able to have dinner outdoors on the finca’s lovely terrace (which, for a mountain village, isn’t so easy, since it tends to cool down at night).
