Wedding of Santos & Stuart
Quinta de la MuñozaI’ve been non-stop for a while now, with the blog a little neglected, but already thinking that in a month we’ll be back to our usual pace once we wrap up this season of weddings
, which is keeping us extremely, extremely busy 🙂
Even with all the chaos I’m caught up in, today has been a very special day, and I couldn’t wait to sit down here and dive into writing one of the loveliest posts I’ve published so far. And that’s because, although every wedding we organize has something that makes me remember it fondly, Santos & Stuart’s wedding has been one of the most emotional I’ve experienced this year. A truly unforgettable day in which they and their guests had an incredible time; but the people of us working there also caught their happiness, the atmosphere of celebration and joy that filled every corner of the Quinta de la Muñoza estate, and the love this couple shares. Their ceremony was truly moving and beautiful, the kind that reaffirms for me that dedicating myself to organizing weddings is the best profession in the world, since it lets me live moments that make all the work behind it more than worthwhile.
This couple got in touch with us a year before their big day, they live outside Spain and needed a wedding planner in Madrid to handle their wedding preparations from start to finish
. In addition to planning and designing their wedding decor, we handled their guests’ accommodation and transportation, we organized a welcome drink for them the Friday before their wedding (at the Hotel Me Madrid), and a final farewell event for the wedding guests (who came from all over the world) on Sunday afternoon at Restaurante Meating.
The photographs of their wedding (and the two images of the Me Madrid’s spectacular terrace) are an outstanding work by Luana Fischer
, a great photographer who keeps surprising me with every wedding she shoots, and who in this case managed to capture the beauty of the day, of the couple (who couldn’t have looked more handsome and elegant), and above all: the atmosphere that filled this wedding, that feeling I got to experience on May 24th and that I’ve relived today looking at the photos, which convey exactly what I thought that day: happiness and love, without a doubt, is this.
I truly have nothing but words of gratitude for Santos & Stuart, who haven’t just been exceptional clients who treated me with so much warmth during the months of work on their wedding, but who have also allowed me to publish these images on the blog, which thrills me so much to be able to share with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I’ll close this post with my favorite photo from this wedding, thanking Santos & Stuart once again for their trust, and for being two wonderful people I can say I’ve had the good fortune to meet.
